Why Grow Your Own Organic Vegetable Garden

It is obvious that eating vegetables is one of the most import factors of healthy eating. They contain fiber, vitamins, minerals and many other components that help us to be healthy and fit.

But the sad truth is that most of the greens you buy are not as healthy as they seem.

During the last decades, it is accepted to use herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers and who knows what type of other chemicals to increase the “quality’ and the quantity of the veggies on farms.

I do not even call these vegetables they are “artificially-made-seem-to-be-healthy-things”.

They use almost everything in order to increase their profit, and they do not care about if those chemicals are harmful to us. On top of that, during the manufacturing processes even more preservatives and other chemicals are added to the product that make things even worst.

There is no doubt that these chemicals mean serious thread on our health.

The guy tells some interesting facts.

If you live in a city buy products from organic farmers. In most of the markets, you can find sellers. They are maybe a bit more pricey but believe me the quality, the taste is much better of these greens. They may do not looks as beautiful as the non-organic ones, but they contain far less harmful chemicals.

If you live in the countryside, like me, then you are lucky. If you have a small piece of land, you can start growing your organic vegetable garden.

Believe me you do not have to be a professional gardener to grow various veggies, and you do not have to use a big piece of land to have enough vegetables for almost the entire year.

Here are a few reasons why you should grow your organic garden.

When you buy processed veggies at the store, those products contain a lot of additives that causes hyperactivity, heart diseases, and several other common illnesses. You just go out pick the veggies, and that is all.

Mass-production farms use tons of chemicals to protect the plants and synthetic fertilizers to boost the amounts. All most all of these things are poisonous for human beings.

You can grow beautiful and tasty veggies without the usage of these chemicals, and you can increase the crop by using natural fertilizers. There are many natural proven techniques out there.

You may not have so perfectly looking greens, but they are going to be healthy.

If you buy vegetables, from the big stores all just look just the same, and they are almost tasteless. It is because mass-production farms uses hormones, drugs and others to grow more. And these greens are almost always genetically modified. (GMO). You can get rid of these harmful things if you grow your greens at home.

Gardening is one of the most beneficial free time activities. You work outside in the fresh air which certainly burns calories. Gardening helps not only to keep your body fit but also your mind.

Studies have proved that those who work in the garden regularly have longer life expectancy.

It is a fantastic family activity. Your kids can help you instead of staring at the telly. They learn a lot about nature, and gardening helps them to be fit.

My son was only three years old when we planted paprika and tomatoes. Every day he went to the garden to see how things were going, and he pulled off weeds. He was so happy when we took off the first paprikas.
